Your ranger will guide you through the reserve in an open safari vehicle or on foot, revealing vividly the private lives of the creatures spotted. The Pilanesberg National Park is situated in an extinct rare alkaline volcanic crater in the North West Province of South Africa, just 15 minutes from the world-renowned Sun City Resort. It is one of the largest national parks in southern Africa, and contains a dazzling variety of wildlife including the "Big Five".

• Game Drives
  Get to see the "Big Five" and so much more. This can be a game drive only, or it can include a bush breakfast or bush "braai". Game drive: duration: 2,5 hours.
• Night Drives
  See many rare and shy nocturnal creatures on this game drive with a difference. Duration: 2,5 hours
• Hiking Trails
  Get really close to nature and experience Pilanesberg's unusual ecology and geology first-hand. A number of different trails exist catering for different levels of interest and fitness. Duration: 3 hours
• Conducted tour of the Manyane Indigenous Bird Aviary
  interact with a stunning variety of African birds up close in an exceptional birding experience.
• Game Viewing by hot-air alloon
  Float silently above the bush, spotting game from a completely different vantage point. This includes a game drive in and out of the park, champagne on landing and an English breakfast at a game lodge. Duration: 4 hours.
